Volunteer Requirements

Community and student volunteers must have the following before beginning volunteer work:

ü        Completed OPTIONS Volunteer Application & Skills/Interests Survey.

ü        Met with Volunteer Coordinator re:  OPTIONS Philosophy.

ü        Signed Abuse & Neglect and Confidentiality forms.

ü        Received and read Volunteer Handbook.

ü        Passed Reference check.

ü        Passed Driving Record check (if applicable).

ü        For Community volunteers only, you must also pass an Automobile Insurance check for the safety of any clients who may be riding with you out in the community.  

All community service volunteers will be directly supervised by a paid staff member.
