Supported Independent Living

Purpose:  

To provide the supports needed for each individual with a disability to live in the community as independently as possible. To offer individuals personalized living choices based on the individual’s needs and wants. 

Services Provided Include:  

• Flexible schedules based on the number of hours and type of supports needed

• Guidance, training and care needed to ensure each individual’s health and safety

• Individualized Plan of Care tailored to the individual’s needs and wants 

• Opportunities to be involved in the community

• Money management skills (such as budgeting & bill paying)

• Domestic skills (such as cooking & groceries/shopping)

• Assistance with daily living (such as dressing & hygiene)
