How to Contact DHH / Louisiana Legislators

Funding for community services and supports for people with disabilities throughout Louisiana has been cut.  Many people thought these cuts would not happen — they happened!  The state is predicting MORE CUTS next year! 

OPTIONS and other providers of services for people with disabilities have offered solutions to the state government that would allow them to save millions of dollars without further cutting services for people with disabilities.  They can do this by consolidating state services, privatizing some state services and implementing shared supports earlier than planned.  Please, tell your legislators and the governor that they should use these solutions or find other ways to make budget cuts without hurting people with disabilities.
